Our service supports and empowers people living with dementia to live fulfilling lives as much as possible. There is always someone on hand to assist in managing tasks during the day. All will be in the comfort, and secure home that the service user is familiar with. Appleford Homes is aligned with Dementia friendly organisations like the Dementia Action Alliance.
There is no cure for dementia but it is possible to manage the systems with medication
Dementia care at home enables people remain where they are happiest and most comfortable. Appleford Homes management team consists of trained Dementia champions which means that they have excellent knowledge and skills in the care of people with dementia. They understand the impact of dementia on the affected person and their family hence, this knowledge is passed onto the staff team through relevant training.

Our dementia home care service is available on a 24 hour, seven days a week strategy which includes sleepover night care and waking night care or a full-time, live- in basis.
